Creative Lighting Portraits

I’ve been working on some creative lighting styles. I’m persuading clients with more creative needs. Much of my headshot photography work is very conservative in style. I think I do that well, but I like variety and creativity. I feed the creative beast by pushing the limits whenever it is appropriate.
These portraits started out as more traditional-looking lighting. I used a large number of Photoshop tricks to create streaks of colored light on the subjects. I enjoy doing creative work in Photoshop and I’ve been developing those skills for a very long time. I started with Photoshop 2.5 in the early 90s. There were no layers and making a simple 8X10 image at 300PPI would bring the computer to its knees.
