There are so many benefits to having a professional portrait made. A professional potrait will help establish a deeper connection and trust with a client, as well as help you to stand out from the competition. Our portrait photography collection feature both environmental and studio portraiture that we don’t quite consider to be “headshots”. With our portraits we like to use the environment, backgrounds, and showcase the subject’s personality and profession. The result is a much more individualized photo.

After your session is scheduled, we will have you read through THIS DOCUMENT to ensure that your photos will be the best they can be. We have all the equipment necessary in our Virginia studio, all you need to do is bring your best smile. After the session we will upload about 10 photos to the media sharing website, SmugMug, for your review.

About Michael Stewart…

Michael works as a commercial photographer, digital photography expert, and an academic photographer. Michael studies and writes about photography techniques in addition to running a busy commercial studio in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington DC. Technical skill and a sharp eye for creating artistic work are the bases of his studio’s success. When he isn’t shooting assignments, Michael enthusiastically edits technical books and articles on photography. He is the Tech Editor of UPDIG the Universal Photographic Digital Imaging Guidelines and the DAM book, Digital Asset Management for Photographers . Michael’s industrious nature and pioneering spirit has allowed him to achieve a place at the vanguard of professional photography.
