Industrial Science Photography

When I received the call to photograph a laboratory that does burn testing, I was instantly intrigued. Who wouldn’t want to burn stuff and take pictures of it. It’s rare that we get a photography job that really makes me scratch my head. I’ve photographed fire before, but not in a lab like this one. I wasn’t sure what I would be able to capture for flames, but it all worked out well.

I also used the opportunity to use a new portable LED lighting setup. The new lights are really bright and run completely on battery power. They worked out perfectly for this industrial photography job. It was a big place and we had to move from one room to the next quickly to get all the shots they needed.
