Photographic Superiority

We try to be competitive in our pricing and still deliver a superior product. We use equipment and techniques that other photographers don’t. This equipment is expensive and the techniques are difficult. It’s all about making the best photographs we can for our clients. We are dedicated to the craft of photography. Some of these superior photographic techniques include:

Tethering: We tether the camera to a computer using a fast USB 3.2 cable or we do it wireless. We can do this with computer, tablet, or phone. This allows us to see the image in Lightroom as we take the pictures. Seeing the file with the processing allows us to make a superior image. It also allows us to show our clients and the images as we go. In the studio, the images are displayed on a large monitor.
Prime Lenses: These are superior to Zoom lenses and we use them whenever possible. These lenses are sharper, smoother transitions, better bokeh, more precise focusing, less distortion, less falloff of sharpness and brightness in the corners, etc.
HDR (High Dynamic Range): When ever possible and appropriate, we shoot an exposure bracket of 3, 5 or 7 files. This allows us to capture a very wide dynamic range from the darkest blacks to the brightest whites.
Retouching: You can count on our superior post production techniques to make your images look their best. We even deliver multiple file sizes and profiles for Print, Web & Social Media.
DAM (Digital Asset Management) : Our clients images are safe and backed up. We keep the RAW files archived here in case you need something special. We also include a precise file name that includes the date and a unique file identifier. Our system allows us to pull up your images at any time.
Superior Cameras and Computers: We use the very best gear and keep it up to date.
Experience: We have a lot of experience making a wide variety of images. We’ve done so many shoots that we have likely done something similar to what you need: Portraits, Architecture and Product Photography are our specialties. We also do video work and drone photography.
Model Releases, Contracts & Insurance: We run a professional business and we make sure our clients have the rights they need.
